My Hair is Thinning
By Anthony Nocera
- In Development -
"Anthony finds himself at cross-roads: he’s 29, a widow and balding. He can’t help his age, and he can’t help but wade through his grief. He can, however, grow his hair back."

Causal Nexus
A physical performance project with an interactive design, reactive sonic sculpture and digital landscape that Zoe will manipulate and connect with throughout the work.
Driven by a desire to explore posthumanist theories, the “conversation” between human and technological systems, the formation of feedback loops and the delicate balance between destabilisation and stabilisation. A response to the fragility, power and entropy of different and complicated systems within which we all respond, engage and occupy; consciously and unconsciously. We will be using sensor technology around the space and connected to the dancer’s body to create an interactive mechanical sonic sculpture visual landscape within which Zoe can react and interact in real time.

This project will have an initial Development period in 2024 Through Australian Dance Theatres ADT:Raw Programme and The Adelaide Festivals 'Inspace Development Programme'.

Ek-ko
Ek-ko is a new theatrical work exploring our collective understanding and behaviour when engaging with emerging technologies, particularly those that sit within a “Machine learning or Artificial Intelligence” space. This work would see us create a participatory technological system where interactions are explored between an audience and a digital avatar of a real performer, alongside the performer who may be present in the room.
Interaction is mediated through emerging technology and new media to probe the relationship an audience has with the performer(s), and the influence of the technologies facilitating the interaction.
The audience is given levers of control, and the power to influence the digital avatar throughout the performance. Decisions may be made collectively, as an individual or anonymously.

This project will begin it's development journey in 2024 in Sydney through PACT's Playmakers residency series.
